Dear fellow Floridians,

I’m David Butler and I’m running for U.S. Senate to represent Florida.

On this site you'll have an opportunity to learn more about me.  The values I stand up for in Congress I learned from my mother and father, and they learned them from theirs.  For more than thirty years, Cissy and I have tried to pass on the principles of honesty, hard work, and "no excuses" to our three children. 

I went to Congress for the same reasons I went to Vietnam - to fight for what we know is right.  I believe the "can-do spirit" of  Florida should live and breathe in the halls of the United States Capitol - that if we put politics aside, roll up our sleeves and work together, there's nothing we can't do.

Together with your help I plan on making Florida a better place.
